SCHAUENBURG

Efficient separation plants are the cornerstone of the successful application of fluid-based soil removal systems for tunneling, microtunneling, HDD and diaphragm wall construction.

SLURRY TREATMENT

Efficient separation plants are the cornerstone of the successful application of fluid-based soil removal systems for tunneling, microtunneling, HDD and diaphragm wall construction.

SCHAUENBURG MAB supplies complete solutions for slurry treatment systems, which are in use around the world for decades now.

LARGE SLURRY TREATMENT PLANTS

Based on experience gained over more than 35 years, SCHAUENBURG MAB develops and produces complete slurry treatment solutions as part of tunneling projects.

INDIVIDUAL PROCESS SOLUTIONS

  • SCHAUENBURG has developed a wide range of cyclones to meet the demands of the most varied ground conditions. There are cyclones of various diameters available for the first and second cyclone stages to be able to adapt to the actual ground conditions
  • Two cyclone stages ensure an optimised cut point, especially in soil with a large proportion of fines
  • Special cyclones with vacuum-controlled MAB underflow pockets ensure minimal water content in the separated solids

COMPLETE SYSTEM SOLUTIONS

  • Tailor-made systems to meet the specific needs, including bentonite mixing plants, conveyor belts, storage tanks, transfer pumps, centrifuges or chamber filter presses

DURABILITY

  • SCHAUENBURG MAB equipment is known for its durability.
  • The components are designed in compliance with high quality standards and built to last a long time.
  • The high-quality design reduces the maintenance required and minimizes downtime.
  • Some SCHAUENBURG MAB systems have been in operation for over 17 years.

SIMPLE OPERATION AND MONITORING

  • A central Master Control System and an optional laboratory make the system easy to control and monitor.

MODULAR SYSTEM

  • Modules with screening and cyclone technology are combined to create a system tailored to specific needs
  • Standardised modules simplify transport, operation and expansion.

COMPACT PLANTS

SCHAUENBURG MAB offers very compact systems combining different treatment processes in six sizes, between 100 and 500 m³/h. The equipment is designed as a container system, making it easy to transport and to adapt to different conditions.

FEATURES OF MAB COMPACT PLANTS

  • Container concept means high mobility at low transport cost
  • Simple setup and dismantling, operation and maintenance
  • High-quality materials such as LINATEX® natural rubber minimize standstill and spare parts costs
  • Two cyclone stages ensure optimised cut points, especially in soil with a large proportion of fines
  • There are cyclones of various diameters available for the second cyclone stage to be able to adapt to the actual ground conditions
  • Special cyclones with vacuum-controlled MAB underflow pockets ensure minimal water content in the separated solids
  • Large screens support optimal dewatering of solids
  • Capacity can easily be increased by linking plants
  • An optional Finest Separation Kit increases of the dewatering area and improves separation of finest soils

MUNGO

TECHNOLOGY DOES NOT HAVE TO BE COMPLICATED

On the contrary:
Outstanding technology should make your work as easy as possible.

That’s why the MUNGO, despite its high performance, is designed to be set up quickly and operated easily.

The MUNGO is the product of SCHAUENBURG MAB’s vast experience in separation. Combined with a wealth of new ideas, it presents a convincing new concept:

  • Inexpensive entry level with one cyclone stage
  • Proven SCHAUENBURG MAB quality
  • Quick setup
  • Simple, sturdy design
  • Engineered for construction sites

The MUNGO has repeatedly proven its capabilities in suitable soil around the world. It is available in several sizes to best meet your requirements.
